CONWAY — The historic building housing the former Homestead restaurant on Route 16 in North Conway may soon have a date with the wrecking ball.

The Conway Planning Board is scheduled to meet April 14 to begin site-plan review on a proposal by Fram Real Estate Investment Co. to demolish the building at 1921 White Mountain Highway to make way for a 7,382-square-foot auto parts store.
