Debora J. King

Debora J. King, 54, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Bridgton Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 24, 1972, in Bridgton, and daughter of Randolph and Patricia (Merrill) King.  

Deb is a ’91 graduate from Lake Region High School and went on to receive her B.A. in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University. She worked as a chef at the Long Wharf Marriot in Boston before moving back home to raise her two daughters Wensday and Indigo. Deb was a manager at the Magic Lantern movie theatre and ran the Tannery Pub for many years and made long lasting friendships there. Deb also found her true passion working at the Head Start Program making a real impact with disadvantaged kids.
