Stone Mountain Arts Center welcomes Suzy Bogguss on Sunday, Sept. 20.

BROWNFIELD — One of country music’s most distinctive voices, Suzy Bogguss, comes to Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield on Sunday, Sept. 20, for an evening of classic country, Americana, folk and roots music.

Bogguss has built a career that refuses to fit neatly into one musical box. She first became a major country star in the 1990s, selling more than four million records and scoring radio favorites including Outbound Plane, Someday Soon, Letting Go, Drive South and Hey Cinderella. Her warm, crystal-clear voice and understated style have made her a favorite with country and Americana audiences for decades.
