David Lee Smith, Sr.

David Lee Smith, Sr. of South Paris, ME passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 after a long illness.

“Dave" was born on June 5, 1943 in Conway, NH, the son of Albert E. Smith and Bertha Smith of Fryeburg, ME. He attended schools in the Fryeburg and Lovell area and was a life-long northern New Englander save for two years that he lived and worked in upstate New York while serving as a Regional Supervisor for Johnson Products, a Boston-based firm which operated an extensive chain of gas service stations in the northeast.
