Neighbors helping neighbors — BCC's Emergency Fuel Bank keeps Bridgton warm

As winter settles over Bridgton and temperatures begin their familiar descent, many local families face the annual challenge of staying warm. For those struggling to afford heating fuel, the Bridgton Community Center’s Emergency Fuel Bank continues to be a lifeline — one built entirely on the generosity of neighbors helping neighbors.

The Emergency Fuel Bank provides one-time deliveries of 100 gallons of heating oil, or the equivalent value in K-1, propane, or firewood to Bridgton residents experiencing a heating emergency. This support can mean the difference between a cold home and a safe, warm place for individuals, families, and older adults during Maine’s harsh winter months.
