To The Editor:

Last Saturday, the First Congregational Church and Lakes Region Indivisible teamed up for a Food Drive and Fundraiser to benefit the Bridgton Food Pantry and the Harrison Food Bank. Food City most generously allowed us to hold the event in their parking lot. I was touched by the generosity of our neighbors and Food City shoppers who came by to drop off bags upon bags of nonperishable food and paper goods. Further generosity also was evidenced by cash and check donations.
