Player of the Week Ella Gibbons

When Lake Region varsity field hockey Coach Lucy Moen considered who to select as Player of the Week, she chose Ella Gibbons because of her unwavering dedication to the team since the day she started playing.

“Ella shows up every single day ready to work her absolute hardest, giving 100% in every drill, practice, and game. She consistently pushes herself beyond her limits and encourages her teammates to do the same, setting an incredible example through her work ethic and determination,” Coach Moen said. “She is also incredibly tough and resilient. She has taken some hard hits on the field, but she always gets right back up, shakes it off, and keeps competing. In the midfield, Ella’s presence helps us control the flow of the game and sets the tone for our intensity and effort on the field.”
