The Lake Region Wood Bank, a collaborative between Loon Echo Land Trust and First Church in Bridgton, is located on South High Street in Bridgton.

From September 2025 when it first began operation until December 31, 2025, approximately 42 cords of wood were processed and distributed to over 130 different families. There were 62 home deliveries. The wood was processed by a team of volunteers that came and cut, stacked and split the wood. Over 45 different people participated in a cooperative effort to make the wood bank such a stunning success in its first year of operation.
