Granite Reliable Power will have to wait until the end of the year to find out if it will receive a federal permit for its proposed 99-megawatt wind farm or must undergo an Environmental Impact Statement process.

Granite Reliable Power has received its certificate of site and facility from the state Energy Facilities Site Evaluation Committee in July. It also needs a permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers because it will impact 14 acres of waters and wetlands.
