BERLIN — Regarding updates to the zoning ordinance, nothing is yet set in stone. The planning board, when it completes its work on the updates, will determine if they are ready to formally present the board’s recommendations to the city council. The city council will vote on the updates as they are changes to ordinances.

Berlin’s updated master plan provides a pathway for this, and zoning updates are now in their third review. The master plan was approved in 2022.
