AVH accepts Coos Coalition Champion for Children and Families award

BERLIN — The Coos Coalition for Young Children and Families recently announced that Androscoggin Valley Hospital as the recipient of the Coalition Champion for Children and Families Award. This recognition highlights the hospital’s dedication and its pivotal role in fostering the health and well-being of families in the North Country, aligning with the coalition’s mission to support children and families within the region.

For over a decade, Androscoggin Valley Hospital has been at the forefront of community health initiatives, sponsoring three speakers annually to address crucial health topics. "Our longstanding commitment to health education and our partnership with the Coos Coalition reflect our joint efforts to empower families and build a resilient community in the North Country," said James Patry, vice president, marketing and community relations at North Country Healthcare, of which AVH is a member.
