James F. Rines is now the sole owner of White Mountain Survey Company Inc., after purchasing Chester "Rick" Chellman's interest in the company.Rines, a licensed professional engineer and licensed land surveyor, has been involved with White Mountain Survey since its inception in February of 1977, with the exception of a five-year hiatus from 1980 to 1985. He has been president of the corporation since April of 1989 and has been responsible for the day-to-day business operations and primary client contact since that time.Chellman will be focusing his efforts on his nationwide consulting business, maintaining the consulting business office in the White Mountain Survey Company building. He will be available to consult with the clients of White Mountain Survey if needed, and both Rines and Chellman expect that the transition of full ownership to Rines will be "imperceptible to past, present and future clients of White Mountain Survey," according to a press release.Rines can be reached at 539-4118, Ext. 30.
