Catherine J. Kasprak, RDH, has accepted the newly created position of dental program manager for White Mountain Community Health Care Center.Kasprak will be responsible for the development and management of a new public school-based dental sealant program.She and her family reside in Fryeburg Maine. She has links to Conway through current and past employment combined with experience in the area of public health dental hygiene for the state of Maine.Kasprak graduated from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistrys Dental Assistant Program and Pennsylvania College of Technologys Dental Hygiene Degree Program. She currently is attending the Conway branch of the University of New Hampshire in pursuit of an advanced degree in the field of behavioral science. She has practiced dental hygiene for more than 25 years within the general, periodontal and public health fields. She has held officer positions in various dental professional and volunteer organizations at the component and state levels. She is the current treasurer for the Maine Dental Hygienists Association.Kasprak has a passion for assisting who need dental care but lack access to it. White Mountain Community Health Care Center has received two grants to support the new school-based dental sealant program. Currently three schools (Conway Elementary, John Fuller Elementary and Pine Tree) in SAU 9 will be the focus of these examinations, cleanings and sealants for children who are eligible recipients of Healthy Kids Insurance.
