Four new teachers have joined the Cornerstone Christian Academy staff this year.Richard Frazier has come on board to teach Algebra 1, computer for first through eighth grades, and seventh and eighth grade current events. Mr. Frazier has a B.A. in seventh to 12th grade math education from the University of Maine, and a Masters Degree in Teaching with Internet Technology from Marlborough College. He has taught in public schools for 34 years, including 22 years at Kingswood Regional High School. John Mingori teaches the 5th grade and certain subjects in 6th grade this year. Mr. Mingori has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Gordon College, and has spent 35 years teaching in the Kennebunk and Massachusetts school systems. Michelle Gardner joined our staff this year as a preschool teacher and the preschool through 8th grade music teacher. Ms. Gardner received her degree in Music Education from Plymouth State College. She spent the past two years in an integrated preschool and music program at Ossipee Central School. Kathy Johnson is our new preschool through 2nd grade art teacher. Mrs. Johnson attended Michigan State University as an art major. She spent 15 years homeschooling her 3 sons and is still active in the Eastern Slope Ski Program. Mrs. Johnson also owns a nutritional supplement business for pets and people. As the Cornerstone Christian Academy student population continues to grow, so does its staff, and Cornerstone is proud to have these four talented teachers on board.
