Eight employees of American Air Systems in Conway recently completed the AirAdvice Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning-Indoor Air Quality program.AirAdvice is a unit that hooks up to a phone line or electric unit and determines air quality in people's homes. The unit is in the house for three days and sends readings back to a computer base, which compiles all the information and puts it in a report. The report reveals such air-quality factors as high or low humidity, dust, chemical smells, mold, heating and air-conditioning insufficiency.American Air Systems is now using the AirAdvice unit. "This is one of the many services that we offer to our new and existing customers," according to a press release.Completing the AirAdvice course were Jesse Dean, Alex DeWees, Rich Ferreira, Gregg Finnegan, John Linne, Dan Franz, Kyle Franz and Errol Wiggin.American Air Systems has been in business 18 years, serving central and northern New Hampshire and now western Maine. The company specializes in commercial and residential heating and cooling systems, pool dehumidification, humidification, air cleaners, gas, oil, warm air and hydronic heat.American Air Systems offers 24-hour service.
