The Fryeburg Farmers Market is excited to announce that they are now accepting SNAP/EBT. To help stretch food budgets they are also matching SNAP/EBT benefits dollar for dollar with Maine Harvest Bucks. For example, if a customer uses $15 of SNAP/EBT benefits they will receive $15 of Harvest Bucks. Harvest Bucks can be used to purchase fruits and vegetables. To use their SNAP/EBT customers should first visit the market's information booth.
The Fryeburg Farmers Market is open 10-1, every Sunday, rain or shine, through September 28. They are located on the lawn of the Fryeburg Historical Society at 83 Portland St, Fryeburg. The market is supported by the Upper Saco Cultural Alliance, Maine Federation of Farmers Markets, Fryeburg Dental, and the Fryeburg Historical Society.
