JACKSON — Jackson Art Studio & Gallery located at 155 Ridge Road in Jackson will be hosting a wine-and-cheese reception and woodblock printing demonstration by Matt Brown on Friday, March 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. Brown, whose woodblock prints evolved from the Japanese hanga method, will also be bringing a complete collection of all his prints, framed and unframed.
“Having spent almost a year in Japan, studying and teaching, I developed a first-hand understanding and appreciation for the Japanese aesthetic,” said Melanie Levitt, owner of the Jackson Art Studio.
