LOVELL, Maine — On the eve of Christmas Eve 28 years ago, Bill and Lynda Rudd (with kids Carley and Morgan in tow) moved into what would become Yankee Magazine’s “Best Gallery in New England” in Center Lovell.

Having started to participate in the Arts and Artisans Fair 30 years ago now, at the time while living in Fryeburg, they had no idea they would be making the move to Lovell just a few short years later and be at the heart of the arts community where the fair takes place.
