The unexpected journey of a Sun editor to a Big Apple theater festival

NEW YORK — I arrived at the Starbucks at 315 7th Ave in New York around 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, for the production meeting before the dress/tech rehearsal of my one-act play “Figuring Out Will” at the Hudson Guild Theater located just a few blocks away at 441 W 26th St. It would be the first time I met most of my cast and crew in person.
