“Ralph Breaks the Internet,” the sequel to 2012’s “Wreck It Ralph,” is likely to sneak up on audiences. It is visually imaginative, laugh-out-loud funny and truly moving.

Full disclosure: I haven’t seen “Wreck It Ralph.” This didn’t impede my enjoy of its sequel one iota, as “Ralph Breaks the Internet” quickly re-establishes its universe — an arcade in which during their downtime, the game characters are able to jump between their games thanks to a shared power strip.
