CONWAY — Things are looking up for the Kennett High girls’ basketball team.

The Eagles return 10 players from last year’s varsity squad, which ended a three-year playoff drought last winter. Throw in the fact there are 30 girls out for the program, up from 13 in 2016-17, and Coach Larry Meader has good reason to smile.
