CONWAY — After losing just two players to graduation last spring, optimism is high around the Kennett High boys’ tennis team. The Eagles are hoping to make a deep playoff run this year.

KHS is off to an 0-3 start but has been in every match. The Eagles fell 5-4 in Northwood to Coe-Brown on opening day on April 9; lost 6-3 to Oyster River in Durham on April 15; and dropped their home opener 8-1 to Souhegan at the Jon C. Judge Tennis Park on Friday.
