FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy boys’ soccer team has been searching for a signature win. The Raiders got it last Thursday night and immediately caught the attention of fans of the beautiful game across the Pine Tree State.
Coach Bob Hodgman’s booters beat undefeated and defending Class B state champions Yarmouth 1-0 at home in Atwood Stadium before an enthusiastic Raider Nation. The win vaulted Fryeburg to the top of the Class B South table with a 4-1-1 record.
