CONWAY — If you like big meets, the annual Black Bear Invitational hosted by Coe-Brown Northwood Academy in Northwood last Saturday was the meet for you. More than 30 schools from across New England, featuring more than 800 runners turned out to run in near perfect conditions.
It was a good day for the Kennett High boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams with the girls finishing sixth overall out of 27 scoring schools (teams with at least for finishers), while the boys, who are missing No. 2 runner Keith Badger, were 20th out of 31 schools.
