CONWAY — With eight games left in the regular season, the Kennett High ice hockey team was looking for a little puck luck. The Eagles had been held to just one goal in a pair of tough losses last week that saw them drop back below the .500 mark. KHS found some of the that luck and put together a great effort to beat No. 2 Hollis-Brookline-Derryfield 2-1 in overtime at the Ham Ice Arena on Monday. Senior Miles Woodbury got the game-winner with just 37 seconds left in the game.

“I’m really happy for the kids,” Michael Lane, Eagles’ head coach, said. “It was a really good effort by them. A good team win for the program, one we really needed.”
