CONWAY — Two weeks into the season the Kennett High golf team finds itself sitting in 14th place out of 20 schools in Division II with a 2-6 record. Coach Julie Rivers sees improvement every day in Eagles, both in the physical and mental elements of the game.

"We're doing a lot of work on the mental part of the game," Rivers said. "The kids have got to learn, if you have a bad shot, get over it, don't let it lead to a bad hole and then a bad round. So much of this sport is mental, you've got to stay positive."
