As I find myself now in the position of searching for a new home, I’m reminiscing about the time when I built my first home over in Lincoln. Everything was new. Everything was mine. And the whole process of ups and downs, joys and frustrations was something I look forward to going through again someday in the future.

If building a home instead of buying an already built one is something you aspire to tackle, today I’d like to cover a few of the lessons I learned in the process and hopefully better prepare you for this awesome project.
