Senator Susan Collins met with multiple sexual assault survivors at her D.C. office Friday around noon, per multiple sources and confirmed by a spokesperson.

The meeting came hours before the Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to vote to move Judge Brett Kavanaugh out of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Per one of the women who met with Collins, the senator appeared "receptive and moved by their stories."
