There are many reasons to ride a bicycle. People ride bikes for exercise and transportation. Many just ride for fun or to socialize with friends. Others like to race bikes or take them on adventures.
There are also cyclists who “pedal for a cause.” These riders take their biking passion beyond their own needs. They ride their bikes to raise money for others and support important projects. Signing up for a non-profit organization’s ride, they either pay a fee or start fundraising. It’s all for a “good cause.” It also can be fun and rewarding.
