The state archaeologist is recommending a third dig on the new school site that will cost $33,000.The proposed 720 hours of work would be to research an old bottling plant, homestead and dump at the former Mineral Springs site in Redstone. While the archaeological study may be required for federal and state permits, some argue that the cost in dollars and possibly in delaying the project is too great. This week's question is: Should Conway School Board approve a third archaelogical dig for old bottles at the site of the new high school in Redstone?Call 356-2550 all day Saturday and Sunday and leave your comments on our machine.
