To the editor:

In a world that is awash in wars and rumors of wars. A world where energy consumption and the warming of the atmosphere, the melting of the ice caps and the stripping of natural resources for needless self-gratifying asinine utilization, our market driven media mesmerizes and stupefies the citizenry with the over-the-top twenty year old multiple murder case where the perpetrator (killer) is embraced as a cult-celebrity and the victims, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman are forgotten by all save a few.
