To the editor:

Last week on Air Force One, our fearless leader was asked a question by Bloomberg White House correspondent Catherine Lucey. The question was about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. “Quiet, quiet, piggy,” he responded.

It is not an inconvenient truth; it is a collection of talking points that fall apart as soon as we check the facts. Democrats do not support open borders, and they passed bipartisan border bills that Republican leaders blocked. They do not harbor extremists, and they follow the rule of law far more consistently than a party that excused an attempted coup. Democrats support voter ID when it is fair, and they support healthcare because healthy communities make a safer nation. None of this is radical. It is basic democracy, basic decency, and basic truth.

Thank you both for proving my points and exposing yourselves.

Thankfully, most of the Country sees through your toxic empathy and misplaced confusion about what we should expect from a limited and less intrusive government.

Otherwise, both you, Mike, and the regular handful of Trump haters never offer anything new except the same old liberal screeds about "fairness", "compassion", or "your truth", or your confusion over our constitutional human rights vs. social services. All I see is the Party of emotionally broken, mentally challenged, and intellectually dishonest.

What will you do when Trump's term comes to an end? Who will you direct your adolescent anger at? Who will be your Hitler then? Who will be the big bad bogeyman?

And so far, none of you has forthrightly addressed the Islamic Extremist or the Communist/Socialist influence within your Party. Why is that? And how is it that you all seem to support the abdication of parental authority when it comes to our own children receiving life-altering medical procedures?

Any takers????

Sure MEPD, I'll take on your insanity again. You should really start reading what we write instead of regurgitating the moronic nonsense you read on whatever lunatic right-wing sites you're reading. Neither of us has ever said (and I've never said it in my life) anything about my truth, though MAGA has distinctly employed "alternative facts"-those are lies in case you didn't know. You continue to repeat lies, ignore facts, and ignore when your lies are debunked. Instead of addressing facts that disprove your claims you turn to vitriol like this, like a small child told he can't have ice cream. Much like your dear leader, in fact.

What will I do when Trump's term comes to an end? You mean if he leaves office peacefully, unlike last time? If American democracy survives Trump's authoritarian efforts, I'll celebrate that it did so, and we'll start to repair the damage he's done to our nation. Hopefully American voters have learned their lesson, and twice being fooled that a malignant narcissist would somehow care about their situation and do something to help them will be enough, and we'll never fall for a line of BS like Trump's again.

Actually, I addressed your BS line about extremists in the Democratic and Republican Parties. As usual, you just can't handle the truth.

What's with the moronic part about abdicating parental authority? Do you just sit down and spew whatever you've heard from Sean Hannity? Do you really think you and MAGA cult members know more about what's right for a kid than their parents? Is there any end to your insanity and conceit?

Please stop with the pearl-clutching, hyperbolic, oh so predictable response that we have come to expect from the "No Kings", "Resist" crowd of the Leftist Democrats.

In yet another, more than obvious, not-so-veiled attempt to stir the pot and get cheering recognition from the old grey hippie crowd, we now have 6 Democrat Party lawmakers create this completely unnecessary video. And, of course, they need to be prior military personnel to lend some credence, because that's what Democrats believe is the magic formula. In other words, We the People are too stupid to see past the bias, rhetoric, or political agenda.

Here is an idea: Why not interview and record the non-commissioned officer ranks and see what they think?

It wasn't that long ago that we had a President question the loyalty of most of our military service members as being "too patriotic" or potential "homegrown terrorists". Remember those good old days? I do. I still remember reading the “message traffic” being circulated in Comms Ctrs during the Obama presidency. They basically indicted over half the service members as potential terrorists.

How quickly the Democrats forget…

We know what a lawful order is, and we also understand the power imbued in the Commander-in-Chief. We are also highly aware of when we are being used as pawns in some politician's power play.

If I were a Democrat right now, I’d be far more concerned with the open-border agenda of the last administration and the political implications of accepting pro-communist/socialist and pro-Islamist extremists into your own Party.

If you are concerned about protecting our fragile Democratic Republic, start there.

mikerins

Yes, it's such hyperbole to quote your dear leader accurately.

Your idiotic comment that Democrats think it's some sort of magic formula just goes to show you don't get it. People don't like your dear leader or what he's doing, some of them served and are willing to talk about it, unlike the cowards in the Republican Party. It's not magic, it's just another example of how Trump has managed to alienate another group of Americans, which is why his poll numbers are at a historically low levels (while he continues lying about having great numbers, a great economy, great accomplishments, blah, blah, blah, if his lips are moving he's lying).

Your lie about a president calling our troops "too patriotic" or potential "homegrown terrorists" goes to show that you are apparently what you claim Democrats think We the People are, as you clearly swallowed an outrageous lie because you can't see past the bias, rhetoric, or political agenda of your dear leader.

I believe the rank and file of our armed services know they're being used as pawns, and that they're already following an illegal order just by being deployed the way Trump has. The important question is; what will they do when Trump gives an illegal order that will lead to bloodshed? As his fantasy world crumbles, his grip on the party continues to slip, and his cognitive decline continues, what will he choose to lash out at, and how? That's what every American should be worried about right now.

Please stop getting your "information" from right-wing lunatic sites. Join the rest of us in the real world.

Are you really so far gone you're okay with everything Trump is doing? If so, you've completely lost touch with reality and what constitutes democracy.

Which Party has the most people in favor of open borders?

Which Party has the highest number of Democratic Socialists in its ranks?

Which Party has the most Islamic Extremists in its ranks?

Which Party picks and chooses which laws it will follow and which ones it won't?

Which Party cares more about the criminal and less about the victim?

Which Party thinks that the 2nd Amendment is optional?

Which Party believes we should provide free healthcare and social services to Illegal Aliens?

Which Party is dead-set against Voter IDs?

Let me help you; THE DEMOCRAT PARTY!

How is that for an inconvenient truth?

mikerins

It would have been inconvenient if you had provided facts MEPD, instead of your usual lies and suppositions. I'll take your lies and irrelevancies one at a time.

Which party has the most people in favor of open borders? Idiotic and irrelevant. Biden isn't president anymore, and I think it's safe to say the Democratic Party realizes immigration can't be opened up as far as Biden did. They can learn (though they don't do it often, sadly). If only the Republicans learned from their president trying to overthrow the government, they wouldn't have nominated him again. Kind of a big flaw in that candidate, though he's got plenty more.

Which party has the highest number of Democratic Socialists and Islamic extremists? Irrelevant, but if you want to look at which party has the more extreme members, you're going to lose that argument every time. MAGA, which is extreme, is the main body of the party now, and there are certainly a lot more white supremacists, religious extremists, racists, and bigots in the party than anything comparable on the other side.

Which party picks and chooses which laws it will follow and which ones it won't? See, this is where you look like either a complete idiot or insane. The sheer volume of Trump's crimes, his serial appearances in court because of them, the incredible volume of his actions that have to be adjudicated by the courts all point out why you look incredibly bad with this one. It really does beg the question of whether you're getting any info at all or instead are being fed something along the lines of the North Korean citizens "information" flow.

Which party cares more about the criminals and less about the victims? More than what? Do Democrats as a group care more about people getting fair trials and treatment by the legal system? Yes. Is that bad? No. Time after time we see corruption influencing legal cases. At the national level we see Trump giving pardons to true criminals just because they said something nice about him or in some way pandered to his fragile ego. That's wrong, and it should be fought. As far as Democrats caring less about the victims, that's just moronic hyperbole. You can care about all parties in a situation and try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. It's called compassion, give it a try.

Which party thinks the 2nd Amendment is optional? While the question as phrased is idiotic, I'll pretend you asked an intelligent question about it. Yes, the Democrats feel (correctly) that the 2nd Amendment doesn't mean anyone can have any weapon they want. Yes, the statistics prove without a doubt that the proliferation of guns in America is why we have so much gun violence. If you actually read the Amendment, not the abbreviated portion the NRA likes to quote, you'll see it's pretty clearly based on the need for a militia. Logically that would mean militia members would have the right to bear arms, not EVERYONE. Sadly, the Supreme Court interprets it differently, and with the stacked Supreme Court it's not going to change any time in the next 30 years or so. Americans will continue to die needlessly because of this misrepresentation and misinterpretation. The thing is, gun rights have been continually expanded, yet people like you whine about how the 2nd Amendment is under attack, or some other such drivel. You've got all the insanity you want, gun rights are one of the safest rights in America, but the right-wing nuts whine about it all the time. It's like winning a football game 34-7 and whining about giving up a touchdown.

A better question though is which party thinks all of the Constitution is optional, because Trump certainly has proven he does. He keeps the courts very busy with all his illegal moves, but somehow that doesn't register with MAGA cult members like you.

Your question about healthcare is the same debunked one I've written a couple letters about, and you've certainly seen some of the information others have chimed in with, so you know it's not true, yet you still repeat it. Is your TDS that bad that you can't even admit an easily disproved claim like that has already been addressed?

Which party is dead set against voter ID? Idiotic question amply demonstrating the successful brainwashing or willful ignorance you've got. Nothing the Republicans do as far as voting is anything but thinly veiled voter suppression. They don't care what people have to do to vote legitimately, they care about keeping certain voters out they know won't vote for them. Whether it's requiring ID a shocking number of Americans can't get (do some research, I did when it first became an issue and was very surprised at how many people just don't have the ability to get a certain level of ID), limiting the number of locations or the ability to give people who have to stand in line for hours simple things like water, or trying to eliminate mail-in voting (for everyone else, but Trump does it), everything they do is about trying to get an edge in elections.

Just like their brazen attempts to alter voting districts to desperately cling to power when they know they don't represent the majority of Americans, it's all about power.

A more important question that you, of course, didn't ask; which party supports authoritarianism, and is more than happy to ignore the rule of law, the Constitution, and massive presidential corruption?

That would be the Republican Party.

There are many reasons why Trump's polling at historically low numbers. History will judge Trump, his minions, and his supporters with the harshness they deserve for these actions. Some of us already see it, but sadly there are some Americans like yourself that are so sucked into the cult they can't see it. You will not look back on these years with pride once the cult crashes.

mikerins

By the way MEPD, great job following the MAGA method; lie, get caught lying, pivot to other lies without admitting you lied the first time. Trump would be so proud of you.
