In Maine’s past elections of 2020 and 2024 (there were no accusations in 2022), a total of two instances of voter fraud were proven. At least 51 claims of voter fraud in 2024 were proven false. Out of more than 840,000 votes cast in Maine that year, that is an insignificant number.
Please stop the infantilization of the electorate. Once you do that, there is absolutely no reason not to require Voter ID in today's day and age.
If you can't produce a legitimate identification to vote, you probably shouldn't be voting. Either because you aren't qualified to vote, or you lack the intelligence or emotional capacity to cast a vote.
The idea that you are too old, too incapacitated, too rural, or too [fill in the blank] to understand how to obtain or use an absentee ballot in time or get yourself to a balloting location has got to be one of the most feeble arguments there is.
You cannot survive today without having a legitimate form of identification. Some of the most benign to the most complicated transactions require some form of identification.
In the last week alone, I had to show my ID 3 times (medical services, retail purchase, and bank transaction).
Let's get honest- The only reason Democrats are fighting this is that they know it will only be detrimental to them.

Election integrity starts with Voter Identification.
Voting is a priveledge ! Every american citizen should vote ! One person, one vote ! The system has been distorted. Ekection day is one day a year. So exercise your right and vote on that day.

American citizens should be proud to vote, they should also be proud to prove who they are. Show your ID !,be proud !
