To the editor:

It was very snowy last Tuesday, and I had to go to the Glen post office and then to Grant’s around noon. It was sort of dull, with light fog and snow: everything was whitish, even the packed, non-plowed road. Visibility was marginal, making the cars, especially the white ones, difficult to see. As I came to the Glen fire station, I saw a white vehicle coming toward me with no lights on. I flashed my lights to remind the driver to turn on his lights, but there was no reaction. As I drove by the vehicle, I noticed it said “Police.”
