To the editor:

President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that his own morality is the only limit on his decision-making and actions. That claim deserves careful scrutiny, not because morality is unimportant but because it is being asked to bear a burden it cannot carry alone.

Walt, Your letter is a thoughtful discourse about Christian morality. Thanks for that. However, in the case of Donald Trump, even a short comment about morality is moot: He is amoral, motivated only by self interest - and even that interest lacks clear purpose or intention at times. However, there ARE alot of less-amoral people who are starting to get cold feet about following their psychotic leader off a cliff. We can pray that they find courage to do the right thing.
