How many of you remember record players? Do you remember when they skipped and played the same passage over and over and over?

Sadly, everything that Bill has written is correct. The problem is that people like you would rather maintain the status quo with false hope and misguided optimism. Somehow, for some odd, unexplainable reason, you believe that budgets will be magically tamed, academic performance will improve, and the student population will cease to decline all on their own without any serious intervention, restraint, or forethought.

Do you remember the Old Testament Prophets who were killed because the people didn't want to hear the message? Look how that worked out for them.
