To the editor:

Communities in Carroll County and elsewhere in the state have been getting surprising news from their town governments regarding tax increases. We are a group of concerned residents from the Tamworth who do not want to be surprised by plans for the use of our hard-earned money. We don’t want our fellow residents to be blindsided by tax increases and learn about the difficulties that families need to overcome to make their tax payments.
