To the editor:

in spite of recent letters in the Sun picking on Democrats and all they have allegedly done wrong, the fact remains that MAGA supporters are standing up for an egotistical tyrant, whether they like it or not! I fear greatly that our democracy is in peril, and because our presidential election is so close, I feel I must say my piece concerning Trump, once again.

Saying something repeatedly, even 100 times like this letter writer, doesn't make it true.

And while I agree that some of Trump's personal characteristics are not admirable, the same can be said for most people, including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Biden lies about important things and has completely divided the country. And Harris enabled Biden, claiming he was mentally fit just before she tossed him overboard. In "Game of Thrones" one might say "well played."

Trump's personality and the Democrats' attacking him at every turn was chaotic. But Joe Biden's presidency has been much worse, even if he has an affable personality (like most politicians). The world is aflame, the Southern border is nearly wide open, our economy is fueled by borrowed money, and we seem to elevate dictatorships to our own detriment (Iran and Venezuela come to mind first).

Trump does have a "personal" relationship with Putin. During his four years, Putin did not expand his territory and did not establish a great friendship with China. Under Biden, he did. Putin saw weakness and he took advantage of it.

Because Putin has a massive nuclear weapons stockpile, we do need to "get along" with him, while constraining his territorial ambitions. Getting along with Putin used to also be the Democrats' strategy, if you remember the "reset" under Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. So learning to manage our Russian relationship was a bipartisan issue until the Left wanted to use it against Trump, because elections are more important to them than anything else, including American safety and security.

In her very limited public exposure over the last few months, Commie Kamala has shown no aptitude for foreign policy. She seems to be even worse than Biden, if you can believe that. The world will be much more dangerous if she is elected.

And her tax-and-spend giveaways will not improve our economy.

While both parties have no plan to fix the deficit or pay down the debt, at least Trump is not beholden to the unions and welfare class. He may be able to curtail the future spending curve if he gets elected. Kamala would never.

For someone that falls for every Trump lie, it's pretty rich for you to say something repeated frequently doesn't make it true, as that's what Trump does every day.

Almost as rich as saying Biden lies and divides the country, which are Trump's specialties.

Trump doesn't have a "personal" relationship with Putin, Putin uses him like a toy. It was Trump's weakness and incompetence that emboldened Putin to try to take the rest of Ukraine, as Trump was attempting to tear down NATO, and Putin thought he could help engineer another Trump election win, and was surprised when Trump got crushed by seven million votes.

Putin is rushing to strengthen ties with China because Biden has brought NATO back together, so he knows he needs help since he's not dealing with the weak-minded Trump anymore that he can con into doing anything he wants.

All the Democrats care about is elections? Really? You may not have noticed this, but Trump is still trying to overturn the one from four years ago. He just can't accept that he lost, and lost bigly. lol

There are a lot of reasons Trump is ranked dead last in presidential rankings by 150 presidential scholars, and foreign policy is one of them, though there are many.

Trump isn't beholden to the unions and welfare class, he's beholden to billionaires, China (spends millions at his hotels), and Russia (his people's 140 contacts with Russian agents during the 2016 campaign speaks volumes about the depth of his working with them to help him get elected).

Trump added more to the national debt than any president in history.

Get the facts, stop accepting lies.

Again, even with all the faults you point out, the truth is Donald Trump is still the better choice over the disgraceful vice president who had 4 years to prove herself and failed miserably, and whos agenda will only make matters worse than they already are.

We need a president with backbone, as crude as he may be. The world needs to be tamed. The USA doesnt need to be the laughing stock any longer. None of the worlds evil powers will have any respect or even entertain the lefts candidate.
