To the editor:

I grew up in New Hampshire and earned three degrees here, one from each of our state universities. I live here because I love this state, but I’m saddened by what I’ve witnessed over the past 20 years in our Legislature. We have lost a sense of community and shared responsibility — especially when it comes to public education. Too many laws coming out of Concord have created division and weakened the belief that public education is vital to our future.
