To the editor:I really have to chuckle at how transparent some of these people are. Dave Smith, the executive director of the Ossipee Lake Alliance (a bunch of folks who own land on the lake and want to be sure that no one else can enjoy it) states the seller of the land did not specify that the land could be used as a "state park." It was intended for "education or recreation." Mr. Smith and company, check the dictionary! The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, on page 499: "Park n. 1. An area of land set aside for public use, as for recreation," plus two other definitions.
