To the editor:Call it slander, defamation, or libel, Ms. Rebecca Moore forgot to educate us in her letter to The Conway Daily Sun on Oct. 6 that her referred to victims, i.e. Ms. Bruce, Ms. Gurien (and let me add Ms. Squeaker-Lowry and Mr. Marvel, et. al.) are perfectly capable of making fools of of themselves without any outside help from Mr. Shakir. They are highly skilled in exposing themselves to public contempt, ridicule, hatred and condemnation through their willing accomplices at The Conway Daily Sun, fondly referred to by many as "The Daily Scum."In fact, to deny the above-mentioned "victims" their opportunity to write and publish mordacious screeds against whatever and whomever they feel deserves a taste of their wrath would be to deny them their basic inalienable right to the pursuit of (their) happiness. How dare Mr. Shakir try to steal their thunder. Indeed!
