To the editor:

I just finished reading Daymond Steer's article about the wood pellet heating system for the nursing home. Boy, what a surprise! Has anyone thought to compare the $375,000 price tag against the cost of the propane "back-up system" that the nursing home is currently using? It sounds to me like Carroll County occupied the building before it was complete. Is that legal? Didn't they know what the cost was going to be when the whole project was bid out? Oh, that's right, "The Delegation" (aka State Representatives) are behind this. Where were they at the beginning of this process?
