To the editor:It is with great appreciation that I write this letter to all who helped make the annual Runway for Scholars Fashion Show a huge success. First of all, I would like to thank the students and teachers from Kennett High School and Fryeburg Academy who were models, your enthusiasm was contagious during the entire show, you all made wonderful models and I want to thank you for being a part of it. You made the outfits come alive. I would also like to thank the following retail stores for allowing our models to wear their clothing for one night: Aeropostale, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Cool Jewels, Dress Barn, EMS, GAP, Harley Davidson Shop, IME, J Jill, Joe Jones, Langdons, Louis Garneau, Lucy Hardware, Nautica, Nevado, Old Navy, Polo, Santa Fe North, Ski Works, Special Occasions, Spruce Hurricane, Stan and Dan, TJ Maxx, Tommy Hilfiger, Wild Things and Wooden Soldier, your clothing never looked so good. We appreciated the use of the Kennett High Schools wonderful auditorium, thanks to the Conway Daily Sun, Mountain Ear and WMWV Radio Station for the advertising. I would like to thank the parents, friends and teachers who have given freely of their time and energy, especially Robin Weber, Lynne Clough, Elbridge Russell, Alice Smith, Aimee Gagnon, Penny Kittle, Jocelyn Judge, Trudi Kasianchuck, Drew Inzer, T.J. Herlihy, Bob Bernhardt and Sandy Hall. If I have omitted anyone, please know that your help was very appreciated. On a final note, I would personally like to thank my dear friends, Bobbie Steele-Marotta for being our mistress of ceremonies and Judie Goss for being my right-hand gal, my co-chair, and for always being there when I needed some advice. Both you ladies have so much energy and dedication to the MWV Dollars for Scholars organization. You inspire us all.
