The procedure would be allowed only in cases in which a women's life is in danger, not for cases where a women's health is in danger. Those who performed this procedure would face fines and up to two years in prison, the women to whom this procedure is performed on are not held criminally liable.See www.vote-smart.org/issue_keyvote_detail.php?vote_id=3332&can_id=S0421103.The president supports the right for each state to decide whether they chose to make civil unions for all unmarried couples to give them the benefits that they desire and deserve. He does want a constitutional amendment to preserve the term "marriage" and the national acknowledgement thereof to be between one man and one women.John Kerry voted to use military force against Iraq. He only changed his mind when Howard Dean was gaining support as an anti-war candidate. This is one of the major flip-flop policies that got Kerry in trouble. I can't believe some of you really think that if we killed Osama bin Ladden, the war on terror would be over. The rhetoric that would suggest the war on terror is just another nuisance and that we should accept and ignore it is the biggest danger for us and the next generations.
