All’s Fair in Love and Tug of War

It’s no secret that I adore dogs. I’ve always adored dogs. Still, the revelation that I have four shocks many. I recognize that most sane people don’t have four dogs, but the operative word here is “most.” There is one self-proclaimed sane person who does have four dogs. She has, over the years, had as many as five while teasing a sixth. But self-proclamation is such a slippery slope. Understand that my sanity has not been substantiated by a qualified professional. While I’m going to operate on my initial assertion, by the end of this column you may well draw a disparate conclusion.
