To the editor:On Nov. 13, 2004, there was an article in The Conway Daily Sun on page 35 and 36, and this article had misinformed the public about land in current use. Except for RSA 79-A:4, a landowner in current use that received an extra 20 percent off their taxes has to allow the public to use their land for recreational use 12 months out of the year without entrance fees, and they cannot post their land. All others in current use can post their land. For more information, go to the website, www.state.nh.us/revenue/currentuse, for the Current Use Criteria Booklet, or call the Department of Revenue at 271-2687.
