'Thank you, Ray': Burton honored at opening celebration for new scenic rest area

TWIN MOUNTAIN — More than 200 friends and well-wishers joined Gov. Maggie Hassan, both of New Hampshire's U.S. Senators and former Gov. John Lynch in celebrating the esteemed career of Executive Councilor Raymond Burton on Friday.

The event was an opening celebration at a new scenic rest area along Route 302. The panorama includes the Presidential Range, Mount Washington and the hotel that bears the same name.
