PINKHAM NOTCH — Last Saturday’s 25th annual Seek the Peak hike-a-thon surpassed the $250,000 fundraising goal for the non-profit, member-supported Mount Washington Observatory, raising $291,310.36 as of Monday.

The fundraising total is likely to increase, with more funds expected to come in, according to Charlie Buterbaugh, director of external affairs for the 1932-founded Obs.
