ALBANY — America's dominance is coming to an end — and that might not be such a bad thing for the world, Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Emeritus and political dissident Noam Chomsky said in a talk at the World Fellowship Center July 27.

The linguist is perhaps better known as a long time and fierce critic of American policy. The theme of the evening was American decline both domestically and abroad. He drew a standing-room-only crowd, which spilled outside.
