Ray and Maryann Shakir will host a meet and greet for John Stephen, Republican candidate for New Hampshires 1st Congressional District, on Thursday. Stephen, the former commissioner of N.H. Health and Human Services, will talk about his candidacy and issues facing the federal government. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Shakir residence, located at 282 Birch Hill Road in North Conway. Light refreshments will be served and the public and media are invited to attend.
